Discover Isaiah Tubbs Resort in Prince Edward County, where lakeside accommodations, Sandbanks adventures, and year-round County experiences make for an inviting stay.

By September, Prince Edward Country changes pace: the bustling summer crowds are replaced with holiday seeks looking to soak in the last days of Ontario summer, and to enjoy the start of what we affectionately like to call “cozy season.”
The wineries and restaurants are open, farm stands are piled with the season’s harvest, and the county’s trails are a haven for cyclists and hikers.
It’s a good time to spend a few days at Isaiah Tubbs Resort. The resort puts you close to much of what makes Prince Edward County worth visiting, while giving you a beautiful place to spend the day on the water or to come back to after a day of exploring.
Set on the shores of West Lake in PEC, Isaiah Tubbs Resort has the feel of a classic Ontario lakeside getaway. The property looks across the water toward the dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a private sandy beach, plenty of outdoor space, and a mix of accommodations that include rooms and suites at the Inn and Lodge, as well as beach houses closer to the water.

The resort is open year round. In the warmer months, much of resort life happens outside. Guests can head to the beach, paddle on the lake, play tennis, basketball, or beach volleyball, or spend an afternoon by the seasonal outdoor pool.
Families have two children’s play areas, while Westlake Wakeboard School offers additional ways to get onto the water, including wakeboarding, wake surfing and tubing.

When it’s time to slow down, there are campfires by the beach and dinner overlooking West Lake at The Knoll.
Because Isaiah Tubbs is open year-round, the experience changes along with the County. A stay can be as active or relaxed as you want it to be, with Sandbanks just minutes away and Prince Edward County’s wineries, ciders, restaurants, farms, and small towns within easy reach.
Cooler days are made for walking at Sandbanks or heading out along the County’s back roads, while evenings bring you back to West Lake for an earlier sunset, dinner at The Knoll, and time around the fire. Add in harvest season at nearby farms and wineries, and the changing colours of autumn, and September and October make a particularly good time to see another side of Isaiah Tubbs.
